Rio's safety tip, "Never play with cats toys"!

And someday soon I will tell the story of "Rio and the Jingleball" or "Near Death Experience First Thing in the Morning..."

g'day Mr Dog Logic
The world of blogs eh!...I came across a link to your profile with that photo.
Is the dog yours?...the Red Heeler, Australian Cattle dog, what ever you folks call em over there.

When I saw it I thought someone had got hold of some pics of my dog 'Lizard'(now long gone to the big bone in the sky)...but no it's not her. Those prick ears slightly flicked over at the tips...her coat was exactly the same down to the white tip of her tail...and yes ever alert to everything.

I'm assuming Rio is the dog in the profile pic also..at a guess I'd say about 6/7 yrs old...mate, the resemblance to Lizard is uncanny...the Heeler gene pool is pretty small, but I didn't realise how small. What is the history of Rio and her forebears...how did the genes end up in Oregon?

I don't have a blog site up yet and I don't see an email address on yours...Ill put in an addy of mine:
wallah@dodo.com.au
Please do contact me, I can then forward some pics of Lizard to prove my story.
My names Brian, and I like you have knocked about the bush for years-we share many similar interests too... other than Red Heeler bitches.
okay mate catchya ron...thats later on.

G'day to you as well Brian!

What a treat, to have a fellow heeler person drop a note from so far away.

I'll get a note out to you from my home email and tell you Rio stories - I have simply scads of them to share when I have a willing ear.
